[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 308 Flashider lengths

I have a AR10 carbine that I had the barrel chopped to 14.5" and a yankee hill phantom pinned to make length. Originally I was going to put a drop in quad rail on it but am now leaning towards using one of the JP rails I have laying around.

I am trying to find out what flash hiders I could replace it with while still being long enough.

If only you had chopped it to 14.7", this would be moot. That said, most FH are longer than an A2, which is where that practice comes from.

I need to try and actually measure the barrel. It has been so long that I cant remember if I asked for 14.5 or just had him make sure it would be 16" when he was done.
