[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Co-worker looking for 308

I've allways ran with the 5.56 so I'm not that informed on the 308. He is looking for one in the $1500.00 range so what would you guys suggest?

You could have him check the M&P-10. It's been getting good reviews, I would dig around in the industry section for more info on them.

Remeington R25, good rep for accuracy. Also more friendly to some of the nanny state rules if that is an issue.
