Starting a DPMS pattern 308 build, with a Sun Devil lower.
Opinions on collapsible stock / buffer / buffer tube combinations would be appreciated! |

Go to this link and scroll down the page, you can get either the DPMS 308 carbine buffer and spring or the DPMS 308 rifle buffer and spring:
http://www.pkfirearms.com/Stock_Parts__Accessories/12/c If you want a collapsible stock I'd look at the Magpul ACS for starters (mil-spec version with a mil-spec buffer tube). The fixed MOE rifle-length is also a great option (that's what I have on mine), you'll need the standard A1/A2 buffer tube for it. |

Where I am at now is that I know the buffer has to be shorter, the 3.25 version when using a standard ar-15 tube, in conjunction with a 308 spring, the Vltor tube is a no go since the ID depth is 7.25 versus the the standard 7".So where I am at is probably going with a slash buffer and spring, and then standard tube with yet an undecided stock.
Possibly the sopmod stock which another poster mentioned, or the PRS but that requires a different setup. Thanks for all the advice |
