not sure if this is the right place. but ive seen scar lowers floating around, I would like to have one. has anyone every built one? are they hard? and how much would a complete one be to build? and are parts at all available right now?

How much research have you done on this?  It can be done, but there is no reason to do so.  You'll spend MSRP or more doing the exact same gun.  The receivers are more for people wanting a different mag option.  There is a reason that there are not a ton of how to threads out there.  Good luck with it if you go the build route.  I would love to see you do it.

The uppers are the guns and they are stripped to the point where it is not a money saver at all but you have more risk of messing up the gun assembling it.

Thanks for the info guys.  I havnt done too much research,  was just getting ideas for another build.  I'm doing an ar15, ar10, ak47, and Id like to do something else just dont know what

Rainer Arms was selling one.  I believe the biggest difference was that it was 7076 Alum lower and it took SR-25 P-Mags instead of the SCAR mags.

The aftermarket lowers are aluminum and were designed to accept non factory magazines as blusheepdog stated.
