Are all DPMS barrels stamped. I have one that is not and was wondering. It's not marked at all.  The bolt carrier has a D on it and when the bolt twists in the extension empty its fine. With a round chambered it twists extremely hard.  Was wondering if it could be wrong barrel??  I have no go no go set.  (Gun show gun). Any ideas?? Thanks Matt

What cal. is it? All the .308 and .223 are stamped with DPMS and the twist rate (ones in .223)

It's 308. The lower is dpms lr308.

We stamp all of our barrels and if it was a 308 it would be stamped "DPMS 1-10 .308"

The stamping is always on the bottom just in front of the gas block/sight base.
