Greetings from ct. I am a long time lurker, who decided to join. Great site. My question. I am building a ar in 7.62x39. I have a colt upper in that caliber, with a bird cage flash hider. Cant have that in ct. Does anyone know the thread size so I can have a compensator and swap them out without any down time?:  Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.

Normal thread pitch for a 7.62x39 barrel is 5/8x24.  There are several good muzzle break/compensators available in that thread size.
