Guy's just some thoughts and maybe some help, I just bought the Colt SP901 and I'm reconsidering and thinking of selling the new Colt SP901 for the LWCR REPR,

I'm reconsidering because I'm thinking I want a Piston 308... The LWCR is a fine rifle as well as the Colt,,,,  I just don't know what to do, the extra cost for REPR at this point is moot,

Any thoughts would be helpfull..

I would stick with a DI system in the AR over an op-rod system any day.  I have owned 5 different AR10's and large-frame AR's in both 7.62 NATO and .260 Remington.

Keep the SP901, as they are a hot commodity and well-executed system that can do things others can't do.

no benefit to an op rod system unless you are running full auto maybe b/c of the heat.  Yeah Op Rod guns are easier to clean in teh receiver area but who cares.  Did you buy the colt to finger fuck it w/ white glove on or to shoot it?

It might be said that there is less gas in your face w/ an op rod gun.  That is definitely moot w/ a suppressor as most of the smoke just rolls back from the chamber.

Is there yet a op rod gun that is as reliable as a BCM or colt?    I recall that LWRC sent some guns out to pat rogers and they went down while the BCMs kept running.
