Does anyone have experience with this? I'm currently on a PSA lpk with a heavy hammer spring so my trigger is way to heavy.
I know the Geissele SSA-E works but the timney is a tad cheaper and a single stage. I'll also be using this in my M&P 15-22 with a slide fire and being one solid unit will make transferring a lot easier. |

Ok. I took my 5.45 AR with newly installed Timney trigger to the range this evening, and can report the following;
The Hornady V-MAX ammo worked flawlessly. 100% reliability. Of course, this is the more expensive "made in USA" 5.45x39 ammo, which apparently has softer primers and gives exceptional accuracy, btw. Silver Bear ammo averaged (5) mis-fires per (25) rounds. Russian military surplus ammo would not fire. Those primers must be made of cast iron. Anyway, as a result of this test, I am putting the original trigger back in my 5.45 AR and putting the Timney in either my BCM, or Bushmaster. -tree |
