Anyone have experience with one of these?  If so, what do you think of it?

No. But if it's anything like my 516 I would love to have one.

Maybe you'll get more opinions on the Sig forum in the Armory.  I'd like to know as well....

I just got one a week ago and it is my 1st 308 and I just love it.

I just got my AAC Flash Hider and have to install it to shot with my Suppressor. Can't wait to do that.

I was a little taken by the weight but you get used to it.

If you have a chance to get one do it.

I'm interested in the Sig 716 also.

It's the least expensive way into a piston driven .308 AR.

Can't wait to hear some accuracy reviews.

Dead accurate. Shoots great!  Just got mine.  Sig has really stepped up to the plate on this one.

I ran to the bank in order to avoid the local gun shop's credit card fee, and when I returned they had just sold their last one.  They looked really nice, and appeared to be well-made.  IIRC, they wanted ~$1675 for it.

Not knowing when one would ever get back in stock, I left the place with a Bushmaster LR-308.

Thought it was strange that there seems to be close to zero reviews of them (the Sig 716).

Picked one up a week ago for my birthday. Haven't had a chance to really wring it out, but it did shoot some Tula .308 I had lying around for my Cetme just fine. Can't wait to get some more time behind the trigger. It's a bit heavier than I wanted, but it balances well. I wish they had put on the Magpul trigger guard along with the MIAD grip and ACS stock, but I had a spare kicking around and took care of that myself.
