http://i850.photobucket.com/albums/ab70/bbbry3/IMAG0190.jpg finished it up last week, and hashed out most of the issues i had. had some FTF and primer strike issues but knew what to expect from reading on here. so far the piston kit is really working well. dont know how long it will hold up for but i dont see it being a problem. at 50 yards i can punch out a palm sized group with a cheap red dot and Silver bear ammo! pics kinda sucks but better than nothing. the two pics dont show the muzzle brake on yet or the red dot. what is the total investment if its not to much to ask?
| all said and done im right around $1200. i must admit one thing. although im really liking the side charging upper, ASA kinda through me a curve ball. they offer an upper with a modified bolt carrier but no bolt. now maybe it was me not thinking it through all the way, but i thought that i would be getting a bolt with the carrier as well. Nope. so that put some more money into an already $425 upper W/ bolt. so keep that in mind if your thinking about going with them.. |
| liquid: have to say your wisdom on solutions to problems that people have with these guns made me go through with it, sure glad i did. surprisingly enough there isnt that much kick with this thing, maybe its the piston system or the muzzle brake, but was honestly expecting a little worse. |
