I want to put a Magpul PRS stock on a 7.62 LaRue PredatOBR (when it shows up several months from now).  It appears that I am going to need a 7.62 rifle length receiver extension tube since the PredatOBR comes with a carbine receiver extension.  My question is where can I find one in rilfe length?  Will an Armalite AR-10 receiver extension fit on a PredatOBR?

An Armalite receiver extension should fit fine, but I'm not 100% positive. I'm sure you will get 100% accurate responses in the LaRue Tactical portion of the Industry section.

I bought my rifle length receiver extension, 308 buffer and spring from Rainier Arms for my MEGA MA-TEN build. I then installed my PRS stock with no problems.

Since you paid a great deal for the OBR, you might consider looking into heavy buffers from heavybuffers.com. If you read their literature and do a search you'll see that their buffers are supposedly top notch and ideal.

First, you can call LaRue and have your order changed to a PRS.  Second, there is no such thing as a 7.62 rifle length buffer tube.  All rifle length buffer tubes are the same.  Just pick one.  You will need to use a 7.62 rifle length buffer.

If all rifle length buffer tubes are the same, then why does Magpul have a PRS stock for 5.56 and a different PRS stock for 7.62?  If all rifle length buffer tubes are the same, why would they make two different buttstocks?

The 7.62 PRS stock has a shorter adjustable cheek piece to allow a full stroke for the charging handle. It is otherwise identical to the 5.56 version.

Have LaRue mount the PRS or call Slash.

This is correct.  I have .308 rifle buffers/springs and buffer tubes in stock
