I'm looking to purchase a precision 308 autoloader.  I've narrowed them down to the LMT 308, LWRC REPR, GAP10...taking a look at F&D Defense FD308, ect...but not limited to just these.  I'm wanting a rifle that is sub moa with match ammo, will shoot mil surplus well, and super reliable like a battle rifle.  I'm really wanting a 16" barrel, but will go no longer than 18".  I would appreciate all input and entertain suggestions.  All feedback welcome.  Also, are there any options to build my own monolithic platform in 308?
Thanks for all imput and suggestions in advance.
(Budget is $3,000 or less for a NIB rifle...no optics or accessories)

Put in your order for DPMS, it will take awhile but its worth the wait. I think a D.I. system is entirely adequate for my style of shooting.(target /precision) max 500 yds. I like the AAC adaptability for future suppressor usage.

The LMT fits your criteria very well.

Mega makes monolithic receivers, if you decide to assemble it yourself.

LaRue OBR would be on my shopping list as well in that price range. Don't think you can go wrong with any of your choices, it would be a toss up between the LMT and LaRue for me.

imo all those are more then adiquate for what you want to do.  just comes down to how much u wanna spend.  do NOT get the DPMS.  like saying a chevette is in the same catagory as a corvette.

I'm very happy with my OBR.  They also have the predatar and predator depending on what your needs are.

For a dead bang reliable battle rifle that's still within your accuracy requirements?  PWS Mk216 should be on your list as well.

That's a hard one, there are so many good .308 ARs right now.   I want all of them.   I have an Armalite but if I were looking for another one I would probably go with a POF or SCAR because I like how they are easier to clean being piston guns.

Bushmaster MOE 308 is what Im looking at.
Chrome lined barrel
Takes 20rnd Pmags
comes with Magpul furniture, and BUIS
Well within your price range.
They still kinda new and hard to find, priced about $1200 or so
Use the extra funds for optics and a case of ammo.

I am very pleased with my MWS and it meets your requirements of SUB MOA with match ammo, and it is a very reliable Battle Rifle. A OBR would also be a good choice.

My POF is awesome and shoots better than I do all day long.
Eats any ammo you can imagine.
