I'm looking to get another 6.8 upper and considering RRA (trying to keep my budget in the $500 to $600 range).

I noticed that certain websites will promote the RRA's has the Wilson Barrel. Does all newer RRA 6.8 have a Wilson Barrel by default?

I have a stainless 5.56 HBAR from RRA that is a Wilson.
My guess is that not all RRA barrels are from Wilson.
Email RRA and ask about your particular model and please report back.

You should also consider these for 6.8 uppers

Update:
I spoke to a dealer here in Houston, one of RRA's largest volume dealers. They informed me that "All RRA Barrels are Wilson".  I have not tried to contact RRA to see if that statement is true, but I will soon... I would figure if any AR manufacturer that had Wilson's barrels would promote the heck out of it. But, what do I know???

I thought that only the RRA Varmint and Predeator Pursuit barrels were Wilson.
RRA does seem to have a good across-the-board reputation for accuracy.

email RRA; tha last time I emailed a question to them, they replied within 24 hours.

This.

As a check, there are barrel marks that Wilson uses that would be under the handguard.
There's a list around here somewhere if needed.
I verified my barrel that way.

If RRA made a Grendel upper with a Wilson barrel,

I would already have it.

LOL every time I am 99% sure I am going to build a 6.5 upper next,

The RRA 6.8 w/ the diamond quad rail sneaks back into my head.

RRA still uses 1:10 twist.
Stag is another option for the Budget minded. Rainier Arms is also worth looking at. Both have SPC II with 1:11 twist.

Here's the reply I rec'd from RRA:

Yes, all our barrels are Wilson barrels.
