I recently built a Bush .450, I haven't fired it yet.........what can I expect?

I shot one, has some recoil, like a small shotgun with slugs. I don't know about 450 Bushmaster but I shot a brand new bowling pin with a 50 Beowulf and the bullet went all they way through the wood and was caught just by the plastic covering on the opposite side.

I have a 16" 450B - Its recoil is like a slow push (much like a shotgun) with the muzzle rising (mine has the standard BM break).. As compared to my bolt action .308 that has a sharp, straight back recoil

Thanks, mine is also a 16".......I will shoot it tomorrow to sight the aimpoint in.

in case you didnt know.. there is a dedicated 450B forum.. www.450bushmaster.net Its especially good if you plan on reloading
