im using a satern/liberty barrel and a aero precision upper
i was going to buy my barrel directly from satern but they were all gone with in a few weeks and my emails were not responded to so i used this guy http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=250508070 useing supplied gas block with dpms midlength gas tube im using a hogue knurled aluminum free float tube draw back is that it is needed to be installed with a strap wrench
i going to use a red field 2-7x33 for optics . since i really just wanna touch a unsuspecting deer and sow at 100 yds machine work is being done by west-tec machine here in topeka ks . the owner is a class 3 dealer and is making me think spr for the next build will produce pictures soon |

this is my new favorite rifle . west tec in topeka ks did my upper receiver mod for under a hundo [url]http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t69/johnclark45/292024_10150310214837127_709762126_8163535_302121547_n.jpg[/IMG http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t69/johnclark45/download.jpg i dont like the hogue free float knurled hand only because it need a strap wrench to install instead of a armors wrench . i just boresighted it at 35 yards with a cheap bsa optic and i was turning cinder blocks in to grave . jhp were not penetrating 1/4 mild steel . hopefully fmj will though 269 for liberty barrel , gas block and bolt 70 dollars for midlength gas tube 70 dollars for aero stripped upper 90 dollars for machine work 26 dollars for oversized dust cover 505 dollars for a awesome thumper . im currently working on a shell deflector that will shoot the brass str8 down so i wont loose any more . 16/20 is terrible on the first time out Unless that's a typo, you were absolutely hosed on the gas tube. It's an eleven dollar item most places. |
