I have a question, what do I need to do to/buy (other than the upper) use my .223 lower and mount a 6.8MM upper?

Bolt, barrel, and mags are all that need to be converted.

Correct. There is a good ammo deal going on at 68forums from a guy in OK.

You need

* 6.8 bolt (you can use an AR-15 M-16 Bolt Carrier)

* 6.8 barrel

* 6.8 magazines

* 6.8 ammo
