I am interested in getting a Blackout. Here are my questions:

I want to shoot subsonic and supersonic 7.62X39 performance type rounds. What barrel twist do I want?

What is the optimum barrel length? i would like to keep it as short as possible but not give up performance on the supersonic rounds.

Will I need a gas regulator?

How good is remington brass? I have always used Winchester and Lapua. I heard Remington is pretty poor brass. Would I be better off using Hornady .300 whisper brass instead?

I have the light weight Wilson bbl. in 16" , 1-8 & so far I'm getting good performance with it .

Still working up loads for the Sierra 135gr. MK's , Friday's range session I had 2028 avg. vol. & was printing very good groups . I will try them this week at 100yrds. because the 100yrd. range was occupied by the PD. on Friday .

I have some about 90 Rem. ACC 300BLK brass left from the org. 100. I make my own 300BLK from 5.56 or .223 brass,as others do, I just cut them & form them in my Forster 300 BLK  dies.
I weighed a Rem. ACC BLK , unprimed case was 81.4 gr. & the cut down unprimed LC case was 83.8 , so the cut down LC brass is a little thicker ,if that matters to ya.

I  have loaded 125 gr. TNT's , 150 gr. SP & so far the 135 MK's are really impressing me. I plan on using this rifle to Hog hunt & the lighter bullets don't turn me on too much. Some are getting the 110gr. Vmax  going pretty good .
