[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 50 Beowulf Extractor

I purchased a barrel/Bolt set from AR-Stoner, and the extractor seems to pinch the cartridge case as the ejector pushe sthe cartridge off the bolt face anddoes not release it.
It just holds onto the cartridge at about a 30 degree angle.

has anyone else expiernced this?

I have put a couple hundred rounds through mine whith zero problems. Is the ejector bent, correct spring?

Its the 2 sharp hooks(points) on the extractor biting into the rim. just need to take them down some with a small file/stone.

Agree 100%, I've seen this on 5.56's, Beowulfs, and Grendels.

Very easy to do, and go gently!

this will be my 4th caliber for the AR platform I have put together ,223, 6.8, 9mm and now 50 beowulf.
