| Just want to know if anyone has one, what you think of it, and what you feed it. I had heard that some of the new Hornady 6.5G ammo wasn't feeding properly in them. Has anybody had any problems with this chambering? I'm not a reloader yet and probably wont be for quite a while but would like to eventually buy a couple thousand rounds of some good ammo for plinking and medium size game. Thinking I could save the brass and eventually reload it. All opinions welcome. |

I believe it is pretty much the same as the 6.5G. BPC stands for "Borden-Palmisano Cartridge". I think the shoulder angle may be slightly different as well as the throat dimensions but I'm not a reloader and I'm pretty ignorant to these things. I had read somewhere that the Hornady ammo had been having problems feeding in the 6.5G clones but not the 6.5G itself. As you can imagine, this sparked all kinds of controversy. Whether or not there's any justification for controversy seems to remain to be proven in my court of opinion. That's why I was wondering if anybody has a 6.5 BPC and if they've had any problems feeding it. Hopefully, Hornady has had a chance to tweak their dimensions a bit. Once I get this rifle completed and to the range I guess I'll have to report back. I hate feeling like the guinea pig. |
| I wonder why Hornady would tweak the 6.5 Grendel ammo since it works perfectly in a 6.5 Grendel which it is made for. That being said I wish AA would let some other manufacturers use their chamber specs. I understand they have time and money invested but they are always backlogged and more suppliers would lead to more sales for everyone. |
