how hard is it to find ammo and what is the best price for the upper yall have seen

Ammo seems to be pretty plentiful. I don't know where to get just an upper, other than DPMS..

I don't think remington even supports it much anymore. I've never actually seen any ammo in person.

I just checked and Midway USA shows DPMS 20" flat top 30 Remington AR in stock for $799. Midway also shows FMJ and Accutip ammo in stock for 30 Remington AR. I saw some factory Remington ammo for the 30 RAR at a large gun shop in Kentucky a few weeks ago. I looked at the 30 RAR but decided to get a 6.5 Grendel and I think for me I made the right choice. I really didn't need a full 30 caliber round and my son in law had a 6.5 Grendel with LW barrel which I really liked. There is quite of internet traffic on 300 blackout right now but I don't know for sure how similar they are.
