[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Buffer compatibility

I have an ar-15 midlength (Del-ton kit), that has an A2 stock, and I am picking up a DPMS LR-308 that has a collapsable stock. I would like to use the A-2 stock on the LR-308, and the collapsable stock on the AR-15. What of these parts will interchange? Will I need a different buffer and/or spring for one or both?

Wow, I feel stupid, how did I miss that...

So, looks like the assemblies will swap, but I will need new buffers and springs for each gun. Thanks.
