| I see that Bushmaster has a 308 Optic Ready Carbine with a chrome lined barrel. Has any one handle/shot one? I/'m thinking about one as there under $1200 or so. I was saving for a Scar but, that still a long time away. |

Midlength gas system, medium weight profile chrome lined barrel and (IIRC) higher grade barrel steel. I don't know if the Bushmaster rifles are affected by the rail height debacle involving the DPMS rifles. |
