| yes you can use ar-15 buffer tubes on ar-10/308s. just get the right buffer and spring to go with. The rifle tubes themselves are the same. In carbine tubes come in 2 lengths, AR-15 and AR-10, which is a little longer. You can use an AR15 tube on 308, but again with the correct buffer. In DPMS 308, they use ar15 tubes. |
| I am using an ACE LTD buffer tube (commercial) and 6 position stock on mine. I ordered the carbine buffer and spring from Fulton Armory and it works great. Slash is on here and sells a buffer too, I assume it is to correct Failure To Feed issues, but I haven't needed it yet. I also saw on The firearms Blog that there is a hydraulic buffer available Hydraulic Buffe but it looks like it's for rifle length tubes only. |
