I am getting ready to build a Ar in 308 and wanted some input on lowers, good bad and the ugly. Please help.

I like the DPMS lower I got off Gunbroker a couple months ago. It was $216 including shipping and is a quality product. Magwell allows both DPMS and Magpul mags to drop free. Nothing special but it is functional.

Be noted the KAC/Sr-25/DPMS style are those that accept 308 Pmags. DPMS is a logical budget/practical choice

After careful consideration I will go with the KAC/Sr-25/DPMS style.

In addition to mags I'd also look at which upper you plan on installing. RRA has a much larger factory selection of 308 uppers with very reasonable prices.
