Maybe this is a dumb question, but i just don't know. Been thinking about building a 6.8. Is the buffer spring different than one for 5.56?

The standard spring works fine. Just make sure you use the correct one for the stock package you choose.

I have seen some instances where a H2 buffer helped, since the 6.8 has more recoil. I have an upper that exhibits signs of the cases being extracted too soon - I plan to try an H2 buffer and ditch the SSS spring I was using but weather has not been helpful.
