I have a question.I have a DPMS LR308 AP4 when I drop the bolt (release bolt with bolt catch lever) on a round feeding out of a magazine it leaves a firing pin indention in the primer is this normal? Thanks in advance,Ken

Yes, normal. The firing pin is free floating.

In a commercial round it might be normal but not in a surplus round. Surplus rounds primers are harder material. Are you shooting commercial ammo?
