What bullet weigths have you guys had good luck with? My cousin is looking at one of these and with a 1-10 twist i would figure only 175's and up will be good. Thanks Mike

1 in 10 has been pretty much the standard twist in .30 cal for many years now. W ill stabilize any common bullet from 150 to 200 with no problems , under 150 MIGHT be a problem in some barrels , never tryed over 200. My LR 308 C  will do 1MOA with new surplus 147 FMJs loaded to about 2740. You might want a more specialized twist for specific purposes but 1/10 is good to go for just about anything.
Start thinking about what trigger you want to go with , because the stock factory trigger is @%%*#^%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks i have a Rem 700 Bolt gun in 308 that i built and it has a 1-12 twist that shoots under 1/2moa i just thought the 1-10 needed heavy bullets. Thanks Mike

lot of personal experence in my what does your dpms eat thread. mine shoots way better with 168 and up. nato shoots ok but it really tightens up for me with heavier loads. aND THAT SUCKS BECAUSE IT COSTS MORE!!! but hey what the hell if you have a rifle for persicision feed it persicion ammo. save the crap for the cetme it will really shoot anything

Mine seems to like 168 grain pills better than 175s.

168 and up to 180 on mine. Anything bigger and you can not fit enough powder in them because of the mag length.
