i was looking through sportsmans guide and saw a FNH 5.7 upper that uses the PS90 mags. i thought it looked pretty cool just wondering if anyone has such a setup and how well does it work?

I'm planning on building a suppressed AR57 SBR pretty soon. Made an offer to a guy on the EE for the upper but he hasn't replied back yet.

Personally I think they seem like fun toys. I haven't heard of many problems with them, but its not like I have my own yet.

i own a 11" in pistol form, tons of fun,
no problems, get the ps90 original fn mags though, the 57 center ones dont go in and out as easily (thats what she said)

now i just need to move to a sbr friendly state

I've shoot mine with pistol lower. The funny thing is the blast of air that comes out from the back of the pistol tube as the buffer recoils. I need to go try it on the SBR lower now.

The AR57 brand mags work fine for me. Some of the early uppers were made abit tight, but the current production ones, like mine are fine. Save ALOT of $$ and go with the AR57 mags. They're good to go.
