my dad has a dpms in .243 and wants a better trigger. will any ar 15 trigger drop in or do i need an  ar-10 drop in trigger?

the criteria of the new trigger is it has to be  single single stage.  this rifle my dad will take deer hunting  any advice yall

I have a Timney in mine, it is the normal AR15 version, havn't had any problems, and it seems to be a great trigger.

so will any ar -15 trigger drop in a DPMS

Just about any AR15 trigger will work. There are a few drop in replacements however that will need a very small amount of modification to the back of the hammer to clear the bolt carrier when the rifle cycles.

I send mine to Bill Springfield for a $35 4lb trigger job.

Timney 3# in my 308, same lower, no problems, even with hard surplus primers...
love it...
