So I was just at the range today and I was having problems with ammo not feeding.  I had 2 cases fail to eject, and I don't even know how many fail to feed.  They would get stuck half way up in the chamber, with the bolt catching the shell about half way up the case.  Some of the bullets ended up crooked in the case.  This was with some 147 grain fmj that my FFL gave me when I bought the gun.

I thought maybe it was the mag, but the other one had a ftf also.  The one mag would feed flawlessly for the first 10 rounds or so, then every other or so would jam.  I had a similar problem before, but I had DPMS replace the mag.  The problem went away, I thought.

I haven't really modified the gun at all, so the buffer and spring are stock.  Any help would be great as this is my new deer gun and jamming is the last thing I need, especially in front of my inlaws!

Field strip the rifle and clean, then lightly use a lube like CLP
If you have not done  so already, otherwise I would try a differant ammo.
Now if all this does not help call  DPMS customer service, which is excellent and
they can help you over the phone or they will direct you to service dept
which is excellent and relatively quick turn around.

Also try loading one round at a time,DPMS has admitted that they are at the "bottom"
of the barrel on Mags, so the latest ones may be the culprit !!!
