What is the max grain for 1/10 twist for 6.8?

Charge of powder or weight of bullet?

ETA: If you mean the latter people have loaded rounds with 150gr bullets (see the 6.8 FAQ for the link to the reloading data), if you mean the former then it depends on the round you are trying to load.

It has more to do with the bullet length than the weight.

Although a 1:10 twist will stabilize a heavy long bullet, it is not recommended for shooting SSA combat loads.
IE you can get more power with an 85-110 gr barnes or other bullet in a 1:12 twist improved cyl barrel, combat load than you can with a heavy bullet reduce load out of a 1:10 twist.

A 1:11 and I think a 1:12 will stabilize a 130 gr bullet.

If you run it on  greenhill, which IMO is very conservative, I believe you could stabilize a 150 grain non ballistic tip bullet IN A 1:10 twist.

I also think a 165 grain hawk round tip would stabilize.
