Why does DMPS use that railed gas block on many of their stock rifles?
I've seen pics of rifles with that gas block and their quad rails and the gas block rail sits lower than the quad rail.
This doens't make any sense to me.

I wish DMPS would make a stock rifle with a 18" or 20" heavy barrel with a quad rail and a low profile gas block hidden under the rail.
I don't really care about the stock as I'd replace it with a Magpul anyway.
Also, A3 upper too.

I ask for a stock rifle because customizing one from them would take one year to deliver according to the rumors going around about their backlog on rifles.

I've tried to find a stock offering from them that I could change out to my liking, noted above, and I can't seem to make anything work easily.

My AP4 16" .308 has a standard FSB, I wish it did have a railed gas block. The railed block are meant to use flip up or removeable frontsights, they come in two different hieghts, forearm and gas block.
