[ARCHIVED THREAD] - LR308B BUIS

Folks. Just purchased a LR308B and have now seen two post (one within these forums and one on DPMS's forums) discussing the fact that adjustments on the rear sight either could not make zero, or had to be cranked all the way for zero. Of course, I was getting ready to get a BUIS set. Anyone have a set that works well, or is this something I have to expect? Thanks for the info!

I have a AP4 carbine 16in barrel with std. Front sight assy. I have used a Troy folding rear Buis. Seams to work.

I thought the LR-308B did not have any sights from the factory. Did you add sights?

I thought only the AP4 came wiht front sites.

This is a good post and I am interested as well as when I get my uppers, the .308 24" bull with A3 and a 16" sportical (a long time from now of course) I am going to want to add BUIS.
