As I contemplate building a .308 one of the major decisions seems to be what lower to use based on which magazine they use. I was debating between the POF and fulton armory lowers. The fulton armory lower uses dpms mags. I don't know about the POF. Anyone been down this road? If I was going to use an armalite complete upper would either of these pose a problem? I've built several ar-15's but this was not an issue with those. |
| The POF and Fulton armory use DPMS/SR25 and original Armalite waffle mags(not the current M14 type). The Armalite upper will not work with either of these, or should I say not properly. Check out Taylor's "tack" at the top of the AR10 forum, and all will be explained. |
