Two questions:

1.  Can anyone give me precise dimensions (A, B, C, D) for the AR10 or DPMS .308 barrel extension?  Refer to attached image.

2.  Where can a person get a dimensioned drawing of an AR10 or other .308 Upper reciever, so that he doesnt have to ask such silly questions on the forum?  I have found cad files for the AR10 lower on the net, but not for the upper.  Anybody?

Thanks!

Thanks a lot!  Very helpful place, this.

I'm confused by the last staement, though.  How is OAL different than dimension B?

also remember, DPMS and Armalite do have different Dimension A.

How much different?  I installed a barrel with a Armalite extension in a DPMS upper and it works great.  I thought it was the C that was different-- all that affects is how much the barrel nut threads on.

There is maybe .001-.002" difference as best as I can measure. I would not call that different as both are probably in spec. YMMV

And the comment about OAL?

our uppers are machined in house and held to tight tolerances.....it may not make a difference in receivers manufactured but others, but I can see it with our stuff.
