I have a very newbie type question but am confused with regards to the bolt carrier group. When purchasing a conversion upper receiver, say 7.62x39, it does not include the bcg or charge handle. Can I use any bcg and charge handle with 7.62x39? Thanks!

When the conversions come complete they include all those parts.   The parts that are specific to the 7.62x39 is the bolt.  You can swap carriers among the different calibers.  I do recommend running a heavier buffer with the 7.62x39, 6.8 SPC, and the 6.5 Grendel....and throw in the 5.56 carbine (not necessary with the rifle model).

If you plan on shooting surplus or Wolf 7.62x39 ammo you may have to modify your bolt or firing pin.

The bolt for 7.62x39 is a different from the 223 because the bolt face is a larger diameter to accomodate the larger 7.62 case head. CH, BC, cam pin, firing pin and firing pin retainer can be interchanged with the 223.
