| Just picked up my new DPMS LR-308T yesterday. 8 week wait to get it made up the way I wanted, but worth it. Had them put the A3 upper on with Ace full length stock, Hogue over mold rubber grips and 4-rail carbine lenght hand guard. Put the first 50 rounds through it at the range after picking it up. Producing sub MOA groups right out of the box. Nice tight fit to the components. Very happy with it, worth the wait. |
| One of my reasons for getting it was to replace my Rem 700 7mm STW that my 12 year old daughter took for her big game rifle this year. I really love the Black Gun format, it's so customizable. I use one in .223 for small game/predators all year long. Now I have a short light carbine for Elk and Deer hunting that looks sexy, is very accurate and will probably piss off the anti's...They don't like sport utility rifles because they work so well. They also double as great home defense rifles. |
