In the coming months if it is still on Gun Broker I might possibly be getting an AR-180B and I was wondering since they don't have ambi safeties like the originals if I can use an AR-15 ambi safety on it? Or will those not work on AR-180 lower receivers? Anybody know? If not does anybody know of any company that would make an ambi safety that would work on a AR-180B? Thanks.

The "B" lower is quite a bit thicker than an AR15. .875" vs 1.125" wide so the safety selector on a "B" has a longer shaft. Check with Rick at AR180s.com His user name is BigRix here. |

Just picked up a clean 180B yesterday. It came with a Midwest Industries top rail. Very low round-count - the innards look new. Other than adding a red dot, this rifle is staying as-is. Attached File Attached File |
