| I'm looking at a DPMS 308. I recently purchased some M14 magazines at a gunshow. Can these magazines be converted for use in the DPMS? Thank you. |
| Unfortunately I do not think they can. The DPMS .308 is fairly propriatary. The mags are expensive also. The price you pay when you buy new technology. I have tried to do some of my own mods to my AP4 and learned that there are not a lot of options for after market stuff other than the DPMS made stuff. |
Expensive? Relative term. The DPMS uses the same magazine as the SR-25. The SR-25 magazines run around $100 each. The DPMS magazines are $30 each. To me, they are inexpensive. |
