I am quite sure there are some differences that would prohibit these two components from working together - does anyone know exactly what they are? Could the KAC handguard be machined to fit? As you can imagine I am interested in mating a DPMS upper with a KAC RAS. |

It depends on whether you are refering to the .223 or .308 DPMS.... and whether you're talking free float or not. If it's the FF or non-FF in 223, then yes. It should fit w/o any problem. The .308, on the other hand, has a different barrel nut and thread for FF. I dont belive KAC makes a non FF for the DPMS 308.... but I could be mistaken. |
