My 7.62x39mm AR today came home with some strike marks from the bolt lugs: I'm using the buffer and spring that came with the Magpul CTR stock. Could the buffer spring be inappropriate for this application? Is there a buffer and spring combo I should be using in a 16" 7.62x39 AR carbine? |
Well, at least the mags you are using is activating the hold open.  I have a 223 pistol that was a M1 kit. I haven't looked to see what the condition of the hold open looks like, but I don't have that much rounds through it..... I'll have to dig it out and look. To my knowledge, it's the only M1 LPK I ever got.... (put so many together, don't recall where I got all my parts....)
