Did I read that the DPMS and POF receivers work together? I found a deal on a DPMS .308 16" HB for $675 but I'd like to be able to put a POF upper on it later.

yes, but you need a bushing of some sort to allow the DPMS upper to mate properly to the POF lower. All the pertinent info can be found in their forum.

Where is their forum? I read through the posts that came up in the search but didn't find the answer I was looking for. I'm more wondering about putting a POF upper on a DPMS lower.

OH! I guess I should learn to read thoroughly before posting. What you want to do is a whole different animal so I would ask the question directly in their forum. Just go to the Industry section and scroll down until you see POF.

I figured it out today and did some reading and the info is there, thanks! I see the take down pin holes are a little smaller on the POF stuff, I wonder if you could "adjust" the size of the hole with a reamer so they are the same?
