Just got me a DPMS LR308T  Looking to swap out the handguards for something with rails. My concern is that my DPMS has the raised rail on the upper receiver. I would like a handguard that would match up that height and also be a continuous rail. Anyone make one for the .308? Also, I am guessing I will have to remove the gas block to remove the current tube? |
DPMS makes a 4 rail. Look in the pictures thread I remember seeing a couple guys with a 4 rail setup: ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=121&t=285712
Yes, there are two alan screws at the bottom. Once you have them out pull gently straight back and it comes out very easy. Depending on your hanguards it would probably be a good idea to buy a DPMS tool. |
