What case is this based on? Case length? What bullet is the reamer/chamber optimized for? Are your rhino cases all cut to 1.53"? EDIT-Found it is based on the Jeffery. |

It is based on the Jeffery but we are taking the pressure higher. Cases start off much longer when using Jeffery brass, for the "made" brass, they will be 2.00" long. We tried to get a US source but could not get one that was economically feasible for low volume. We are waiting on a quote for the 416 version from our Phantom brass supplier but that supplier is a bit finicky ... not as reliable as we would like. Some new developments we have become aware of might put this whole project in a a WHOLE new light so we need to look at that some more, but Rhino might be poised for some interesting results. The 338 version, we are trying to get as close to 338 Lapua Magnum as we can without getting into dangerous operating conditions ... |
