| Anyone have first hand experience or own a Cobb rifle in .308 or .338 LM? I'm seeking information on the build quality and accuracy of the rifle, and your thoughts on their customer service. |

1) I've met Skip, the owner, a few times in the very beginning. Good Guy. 2) Chris, the senior machinist, does work for my company. Another Good Guy. 3) I've been in the new shop a number of times... nice, clean and orderly. 4) They just received a few more CNC machines. You'll be fine with anything you own from them. |

Good luck getting any information on anything they sell. If they plan on selling anything they should get a better marketing plan. RSR is their distributor. They don't know anything either, including who of their accounts sell Cobb products. They gave me a number to their largest dealer. They said they have no plans to carry Cobb firearms and do not have any prices. |
Which RSR sales person said that to you, give me a name and RSR sales location? Unless you can back it up with facts all you are is just another blurb on the net with your opinion and no first hand experience. I have one cobb rifle and last I checked with my local dealer he was getting shipments from RSR. RSR has a web site and lists all the sales staff with email addresses so please....

Blurb? Why would i say it ? Everything I said was true. Greg. at RSR Texas. (Greg was a nice enough guy just looked for 10 minutes and couldn't give me a price) Gave me a distributor near Denver. I'll post the name when I get to work tomorrow . So stick those facts in your shadow. If you have experience post a price on a MCR400. EDIT - I believe it was the "Firing line" 303 363-0041 Richard. I was considering pre-ordering a 338 Lapua. I'm originally from the North Atlanta burbs so I thought I would give them a little business. BTW is the Serial # on the upper or lower. |

Had my Cobb MCR200 for 4 months now and am very happy with it: Accuracy: .78 MOA @ 100 yards with 168/175 SMK. Reliability: 8 out of 10 because the extractor pins drifts thus causing bolt to jam. Required stronger extractor springs to solve the problem. Functionality: 8 out of 10 due to "no bolt open feature after the last shot". There is no bolt release mechanism hardware built in. Overall: I am pleased with their products but would not buy another Cobb Rifle. |
Good to know. Saw a Cobb 50 this weekend. It Felt like it weighed 35 lbs. |
