Just bought this gun and I have been researching mods.

Does anyone know if the Badger Ordnance AR10 Stabilizer Handguard will fit this gun?  If it fits I am curious if you had to buy another gas block?

No, the receiver threads on DPMS 308 and AR-10s are different.

unless I'm mistaken, I believe SuperiorWeaponsSystems.com has an adapter nut.

As I understand it all you need to do is order it for your DPMS and it will come with the right one.... that stabilizer is backordered til the end of June.  As for the gas block, I plan to get a better looking one when i put the BO on my 308.

I went to the DPMS site and did not see the Badger one as an option.  They list carbon fiber ones etc.

Is it hard to install a new gas block?  The stock one is ugly.

So far I like the Badger one:

I am having a hard time finding out which diameter gas block I should get for the stainless steal 24" barrel.

Order it "for" DPMS, buy from any reputable vendor since you already have the rifle.  I was told it is available with the right nut if ordered that way. That is what I'm planning for mine.  I didn't check out the gas blocks, but I want to get rid of that turd that is on there now.
