I'm having DPMS build an LR-308 AP4 for me and I'm still learning about the options. Could you guys help me out? Stocks: Can mil-spec Colt M4 collapsible stocks go on this rifle with the existing receiver extension (buffer) tube? Wouild all the following options work on the standard AP4 buffer tube? 6-Position AP4 Stock $0.00 AR-15 Collapsible Buttstock – Black (CAA?) $50.00 Choate Telescoping Buttstock $149.85 VLTOR Carbine Stock $129.95 VLTOR Standard Length Stock $109.95 What is the difference between the VLTOR carbine and standard length stocks? The buffer tube? Which stock would you prefer? Compensator: I have a comp on another short .308 and know that I want one on this rifle for its intended purpose. What is the difference between the Miculek ($24.95) and the Bennie Cooley Tactical Compensator ($89.95)? Which would you prefer? Trigger: A light, clean trigger is important to me. What are the differences between these three options? JP Adjustable Trigger $139.95 Chip McCormick Drop in Trigger $169.95 2-Stage Trigger $105.95 Which would you prefer? Finally, are AR15/M4/LR-308 charging handles all interchangeable? I have a tactical latch on my company M4A1 that I don't like for operational use because it hangs up on my rig when I transition.
