i just got a new olympic arms book and i saw the diffrent calibers there was 223 wssm 24wssm 25wssm the question i have is that a ar15 lower or a ar10 if its a ar15 lower wheres the best place to order parts to start a new build |

The WSSM line of cartridges work on standard AR15 lowers. Mike at Dedicated Technology's can build a upper using Olympic parts. and can also answer any questions you may have. Here is a hot link to his web page for the WSSM. Dedicated Technology's |

The last I heard Olympic would not sell parts for the WSSM upper conversion to individuals. Mike at Dedicated Technology's is certified by Olympic to build these uppers and can get parts from them directly. He is the only one to my knowledge that can build a upper for you outside of Olympic. If you really want to build your own, there are other chamberings that you can get that do not modify the upper from the original so much. The 6x45mm and the 300 fireball are a couple of good ones to look at. Joe |
Judging by the look of the bolt, I wonder how long the locking lugs will hold out? I'd wait till the jury is in before purchasing one, that's for sure!

Olympic uses a totally redesigned bolt, bolt carrier, and extension along with a modified upper receiver. TRUST ME, they are beefy enough. Just imagine someone took the bolt and extension from a DPMS LR in 300 RSAUM and managed to shoe horn it into an AR15 upper receiver .... |
