I have a .50 Beowulf upper on the way.  I want to swap out the rail style gas block for a low profile gas block so I can intsall a longer free floating forarm.  Are there any L/P gas blocks that will work on this barrel?  Thanks.

The block on your 'wulf is like .902; or something really odd like that. I think your best bet is to order a low profile block from AA if you need something low for a free float rail.
I can't think of anything outside of a custom shop to replace it with.

i thought they were 15/16", but not positive.  if they are, badger ordnance makes one.  dont know if AA sells the low profile one by itself.  i just chopped mine.

Thanks.  The Badger unit looks like it will work nicely.  My upper has the pic. rail gas block.

The standard bull barrel size is .935"/.936".  AA uses a .905" block.  You'll either have to get a block from AA or have someone bore out a .750" block.

Last I hear they were 0.907" gas block seat diameter, semantics, I know...

Easy route for a low profile gas block is to bore out a LaRue 0.875" gas block.
I have LaRue 0.875" blocks if you need one opened up.
