I have been eyeing a dpms lr for some time now...but have yet to decide on a caliber.
My shooting will be almost all target (some coyote maybe, but not enough to matter) at ranges from 100-600 yds...mostly in the 300-400 range...but i want to cover it all.  I have a spot to try 1000 yds, but don't know if I ever will.

I am trying to decide between the lr-243, lr-260, or lr-308.

Another key factor, is that I do not reload.  Whatever I shoot out of the gun will be factory.

Any factors that will help my decision making will be appreciated.
Accuracy (most important), reliability, etc. with the different rounds out of this specific rifle.

THanks,
Sam

If you dont reload you are best to stick with the 308

Why not reload?
You will quickly recoup the cost of the reloading press and you have much better control of the final product

+1, black hills .308 is expensive.

I watched a .243 shoot well in the wind the other day at 600 against my 175 SMKs.....

Kinda depends what is more important of the grocery list - cost / availability / down range energy / paper puncher

.243 / .260 & the 6's - interesting, and proven to be sucessful in many circles

Regardless - start reloading.

Good luck
